My Story

My Sister
My sister gets nightmares and wakes up and she can't get back to sleep.

When the TV is on and Jaimie is trying to get to sleep our mum sees something funny and laughs really really loudly.

When Rosie is in the bedroom and the window is open Jaimie and I run down the hallway and Jaimie goes in the bedroom first and rosie doesn’t move but when I go in rosie jumps out the window
( don’t worry Rosie is our cat ).

Minnie and Rosie ( our cats ) go up Jaimie’s ladder to her bed and give us the fright of our lifetime.

Jaimie gets scared because the cats leap up to Jaimie’s bed nearly all the time and our mum and dad  wait until the cats have gone out of the bedroom and then they shut the door but Minnie opens the door and goes into the shelf were all the fluffy blankets are (Minnie is a smart cat).

Our neighbours do their lawn at midnight and me and Jaimie  get woken up by them and then in the morning we are exhausted and we don’t want to go to school BUT WE HAVE TO!

Rosie is on the left and Minnie is on the right

School Athletics Day

On Tuesday the 19th of November it was Waikowhai  Primary Schools athletics day. My favourite part about athletics day was the 400m because it was really really fun and I came first.

Athletics  day is a day when you have to do a lot of sports and exercise. Our school was doing athletics for the whole day.
My favourite team building game was the leap frog, it was really really fun because you couldn't touch the ground otherwise you have to go back to the start and you' re not allowed to step on the snacks. and the bacteria.  Otherwise again you have to go back to the start.
At athletics day we didn't do the events by ourselves there were teachers there to  help us and they were telling us what to do.

Corbans estate trip

On Wednesday the 13th November 2019 the middle school hopped on the bus and went on a trip to Corbans Estate Art Centre. We got to tell stories, do some drumming and make some leis.

Leis are a sign of friendship. If you make a lei you can't keep it all to your self you have to give it to someone special in your life. I gave my lei to my mum. We also had some parents that came along to help out.

The drumming was so fun. The parents started doing the drumming and then the people there that were called the Pacific Mamas they said that the kids could join in so I went with my mum. First the parents had to hold our hands and do it with us and then we got to do it on our own.  My mum had me and Anna with her  and after the drumming we did some dancing. It was super duper fun.

Our day was so fun at Corbans.  I hope I can go their again. It was terrific.
