Coding!!

 Kia Ora, it is Paige here coding on Wednesday is really fun because at the moment we are using Minecraft to do it.😁

here is why I like coding

-because you get to code robots

-you get to go on minecraft and code

-IT IS FUN!!!

-And because you get to do create new games and learn all about codes and robots.

Lately we have been doing monthly build challenges there was build a space rocket build a maze and other things.We have also been doing a create your on game challenge the website is called code avengers

 Last week on the 4th 5th and 6th of November, it was Waikowhai Primary School's Production. We  had 5 performances they were on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

We had to do a dance and I will tell you about mine now!

My song was called Wipeout.

The story was about a girl called Jasmine who wanted to travel the world and go on her O.E.

But the Sultan of the Palace didn't let her, he thought it would be too dangerous for a princess.

At the end of the story the great Sultan of the kingdom changed the rules so that the princess Jasmine could travel the world.

Transformations!

Today we have been learning about transformations.

e.g, rotation, reflection, translation.

Rotation is when you turn something. Reflection is where you reflect your picture like it is shown in a mirror.

Translation is when you just slide your picture across the page

Matariki for Mokaroa and Kaiwhare

On Thursday 23 of July the whole of Waikowhai did Matariki themed stuff Haumia,Kaiwhare and Mokaroa were doing it together.In Mokaroa we had our teacher Mr. Hing Windsor and Mr. Riceman

and they were doing kites. In Haumia we did origami stars and that was with Mr. Rattenbury (Mr. R).

And last but not least Kaiwhare we did stars made with ink and that was with Mrs. Mcleallan. We had parents come and help us too. We all had a very fun day. here is my thinking hats about that day.

favourite subject in school

hello,there me again Paige do you want to here what my favourite subject is in the lock down okay so My favourite is maths because it is not to hard for me and not to easy for me so it is just right for me the other stuff we are doing is reading and writing and some bonus activities what activities do you like I am doing my writing because this is my writing

Kia ora,everyone do you want to hear what I have been doing . OK then lets get started so first I went for a walk and when we got home me and my sister Jaimie played on the tramp together. then the next day we went for a scooter ride and we were looking at all the teddy bears in the windows. the next day we went for another walk but mum and dad wrote in Jaimie's note book and they set up a hunt for us with clues in the notebook for me and Jaimie to follow. any way on Easter Friday we were having a lot of fun on our scooters until we go off the bridge and we were going to fast. Jaimie stopped and I thought that I would crash into Jaimie. so I put my foot down to stop my self. but... my foot got stuck under my scooter and I came tumbling off my scooter and oh no I broke my wrist and now here I am in a full cast here are some photos of me in my cast  and me in the hospital and some the cool stuff there.oh and I lost my tooth when I had my cast on here are photos of that is well.

I am so exited to get this cast off and have stuff back to normal again and lets hope I never get a cast ever again.
